James closed with 21 points (10-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 119-107 loss to Denver.

James delivered a solid output in the season opener, and no one would think he's the oldest player in the league, especially given the way he keeps driving to the rim with top-notch athleticism. He was efficient from the field and stuffed the stat sheet admirably in this one, something he should often do as long as he remains healthy, but unfortunately, the Nuggets were too much for the Lakers, so James had to settle with the loss.
