Barton totaled 19 points (7-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and eight assists across 34 minutes during Thursday's 103-89 loss to the 76ers.
Barton missed the Nuggets' previous two games with a back injury and was at one point considered doubtful for Thursday's contest. However, he was ultimately able to play and ended up as Denver's second-leading scorer (behind Nikola Jokic) in the contest. Barton has taken on an increased role in the absence of Jamal Murray (knee) this season, and the results have been encouraging thus far. Through 13 games, Barton is posting a career-best 16.6 points and 2.5 three-pointers per contest.
