Barton (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
Barton will miss his third straight game, while Gary Trent (back) will miss his sixth in a row. Barton is expected back for Tuesday's rematch against Charlotte, but Trent is still iffy for that game, which falls on the front end of a back-to-back.
