Raptors general manager Bobby Webster announced Sunday that Dragic is out indefinitely after leaving the team to tend to an unspecified personal matter, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Since being acquired from the Heat in August as part of the sign-and-trade deal that sent Kyle Lowry to Miami, Dragic has struggled to carve out a role with the Raptors. He started in the Raptors' season opener before moving to the bench, but he was a fixture on the second unit for only three contests before falling out of the rotation entirely. Lowry has seen the court just once in the Raptors' past 17 games, so his absence shouldn't affect how head coach Nick Nurse divvies up the minutes among the team's guards. Given his lack of a role, Dragic could be headed for a buyout at some point later this season if and when he rejoins the Raptors.
