Mathews has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Mathews is just the latest player to enter protocols, so he'll likely be slated to miss the next 7-to-10 days unless he can return a pair of negative tests within a 24-hour span. Mathews had been in the midst of a cold spell over his last seven games, averaging just 7.7 points and 1.3 threes on 27.1 percent shooting (23.7 percent 3Pt).
