Vassell (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks for conditioning purposes, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

The rookie first-round pick remains unavailable after missing the final five games before the All-Star break due to the COVID-19 protocols. Vassell has apparently cleared the protocols but is still ramping up his conditioning.
