Spurs' Devin Vassell: Undergoing knee surgery

Vassell is scheduled to undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee Jan. 11, Tom Osborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Vassell has had lingering soreness in his left knee that has held him out of three of his last four contests. Although there is no timeline for a return, the surgery will likely be minor. Until he returns, Romeo Langford and Malaki Branham should see expanded roles.
