Covington amassed 15 points (5-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and four steals over 40 minutes during Saturday's 115-110 win over Washington.

Portland's rash of injuries has allowed increased output for Covington, who was one rebound shy of collecting his first double-double of the season. While his offensive output is decent enough, Covington's defensive skillset is well-regarded and the primary cause for his consistent usage.
