Buckner had six total tackles, a sack and two QB hits in Sunday's loss to Seattle. Buckner was his usual disruptive self despite the rest of the defense's struggles. After missing time with a foot injury in training camp, he was fully healthy Sunday.
Buckner (foot) is practicing Tuesday, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports. Buckner missed over a week of practice due to a minor foot injury, but he will have plenty of time to ramp up his activity before Week 1. If the Colts don't have any lingering concerns about an injury aggravation, Buckner could be available for Saturday's exhibition matchup against the Vikings.
Buckner missed practice Sunday after suffering a minor foot injury on Saturday, the Indianapolis Star reports. "We will still take it day-by-day, but things are trending in the right direction," said head coach Frank Reich. The injury sounds minor, but watch Buckner's progress. His health is key to the Indy defense since he posted 9.5 sacks and had 58 tackles in his first year with the Colts last season.
Buckner is listed as active for Saturday's game against Buffalo. While Buckner's status was previously unknown due to an ankle injury suffered in mid-December, the defensive tackle will suit up for Saturday's wild-card matchup. The 26-year-old posted 58 tackles (37 solo), 9.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in the regular season.
Buckner (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's wild-card matchup in Buffalo, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports. Buckner hasn't yet missed a single game due to the ankle injury that's plagued him since mid-December, and he'll no doubt do everything in his power to suit up for Indianapolis' first playoff tilt. The starting defensive tackle began the week with back-to-back missed practices but managed to log a limited session Thursday.
