Johnson (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Johnson continues to nurse a shoulder injury suffered in Week 1. The rookie fourth-rounder's presence would be of substantial help to a Bills secondary now without Vontae Davis, but it remains to be seen whether Johnson will be able to suit up against the Vikings on Sunday.
Johnson (shoulder) missed practice for the third straight day Friday and will not play Sunday against the Chargers, the Bills' official site reports. Although they don't have the exact same role, this could be the impetus to get veteran Vontae Davis back in the lineup. Davis was scratched in Week 1, and when Johnson was sidelined, the Bills had a tough time moving the pieces in their secondary around.
Johnson, who suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's loss to the Ravens, isn't practicing Wednesday, Joe Buscaglia of WKBW.com reports. The rookie fourth-round pick logged two tackles in his first 17 NFL snaps before exiting with the injury. While he's unlikely to be a starter in the near future, Johnson should remain active most gamedays thanks to his ability to cover the slot and help out on special teams.
Johnson suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's game against the Ravens and will not return. Johnson's injury is a blow to Buffalo's already-depleted right cornerback group, with Vontae Davis (still recovering from surgery) and Ryan Lewis (undisclosed) both scratches Sunday. Expect an update on the rookie fourth-rounder's injury after the contest.
