Avalanche's Devon Toews: Expected to be fine

Toews was hobbled by a shot block late in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Jets, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Head coach Jared Bednar said the defenseman still needs to be fully checked out, but it's expected he'll be okay. Still, fantasy managers will want to be sure of Toews' status ahead of Saturday's game versus the Oilers, with puck drop for that contest scheduled for 10 p.m. Eastern.
