Toews netted a goal in a 6-2 loss to Toronto on Saturday.

Toews scored at 9:45 of the second period to reduce the Leafs' lead to 3-2. It was his third goal and 20th point in 33 games in 2022-23. He had been limited to two assists over his previous seven contests.
