Avalanche's Sam Malinski: Inks entry-level contract

Malinski has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Colorado, Kyle Fredrickson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Malinski is a 24-year-old undrafted defenseman who just completed his third year at Cornell. He had eight goals and 26 points in 34 games in NCAA action this season. Malinski is expected to play in the minors in 2023-24.
