Greer signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Devils on Tuesday, per PuckPedia.
The 24-year-old winger played in one game with the Devils last season, racking up seven PIM in 8:33 of ice time. Greer added 14 points in 16 games with AHL Binghamton after he was traded from the Islanders' organization at the trade deadline. He can be expected to at least start the year with the Devils' new minor-league affiliate in Utica.
