Devils' Nico Daws: Wins NHL debut

Daws made 24 saves Saturday in a 2-1 OT win over the Sabres.

First NHL game, first NHL win. Daws (20 years, 305 days) is the youngest goalie in Devils history to make his debut. He was sharp and focused, and kept his team in the game in the second when he stoned Drake Caggiula on a breakaway. Expect Daws to continue to get starts with Mackenzie Blackwood (heel) and Jonathan Bernier (lower body) out.
