Devils' Paul Cotter: Nets game-winner Saturday

Cotter scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres.

Cotter has enjoyed a hot start to the season with two goals and an assist over his first two games. The 24-year-old has added four shots on net, three hits and a plus-3 rating. He was occasionally shuffled out of the lineup during his time with the Golden Knights over the last two years, but he looks set to see consistent bottom-six minutes with the Devils. If his offense follows him back stateside, he should be able to surpass the 25-point campaign he produced in 2023-24.
