Flames' Derek Ryan: Ascends to active roster

Ryan was activated from the taxi squad Tuesday.

Ryan's expected to play in Tuesday's road game against the Jets. The 34-year-old has suited up for all eight games this season, averaging 11:04 of ice time and recording one point and four PIM.
