Appleton (wrist) practiced Friday in a non-contact jersey, Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Appleton last played Nov. 13 in Seattle and has missed the last 36 games. He'll likely remain out of action until after the All-Star break. Appleton has a goal and six points in 14 games this season.
