Mikheyev entered the league's COVID-19 protocols Tuesday.
It's of course unclear when Mikheyev might be able to return, but he'll have the better part of a week with the Maple Leafs -- and most of the NHL -- now off until Dec. 27. The 27-year-old had just made his season debut, going scoreless over 15:13 of ice time in Edmonton on Dec. 14.
