Mike Weber: Released by St. Louis

Weber has been released by the Blues from his professional tryout.

The Blues had too many capable players on the blue line to roster Weber, and the team feels comfortable with its current stock of defensemen in the American Hockey League. It seems like Weber, a 28-year-old with 351 games of NHL experience, should land a job somewhere.
