Sabres' Jack Eichel: Surfaces on IR

Eichel (neck) was placed on injured reserve Monday, according to CapFriendly.

Eichel has already missed the last seven games and he'll be eligible to be activated from injured reserve once he's healthy. The 24-year-old has 18 points through 21 games this season and it's unclear when he's expected to return.
