Nationals first baseman Adam LaRoche was scratched Saturday against the Diamondbacks because of biceps tendinitis.
LaRoche told MASN Sports he may have sustained the injury while carrying boxes recently. He is not expected to play on Sunday as well. He ends his season with a .237 batting average, 20 homers and 62 RBI in 511 at-bats.
