Cubs infielder Alberto Gonzalez showed some power at the plate, launching his first home run of the season during Sunday's series finale against the Giants.

Gonzalez took Chad Gaudin deep in the seventh inning for a solo home run. He also drove in another run on a sacrifice fly in the eighth and finished 1 for 3 with one run scored and two RBI in a 10-7 victory.

Gonzalez is hitting .250/.304/.450 with one home run and two RBI through 20 at-bats.
