Brewers second baseman Scooter Gennett joined the list of odd baseball injuries Monday. Gennett cut the top of his left hand while reaching for shampoo in the shower after Sunday's game in Pittsburgh on the shower caddy holding his cleaning products, according to his Instagram account.
Gennett said he hopes to be back in the lineup for Wednesday's game after the bleeding stops.
Manager Ron Roenicke did not rule out the possibility of a DL stint if Gennett's situation lingers, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
He is hitting .207 with one RBI in 29 at-bats this season.
