Padres outfielder Cameron Maybin has been removed from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Tuscon with knee issues, U-T San Diego reports.
"Technically, we pulled him off the rehab to give his knee a few days to calm down," Padres general manager Josh Byrnes told U-T San Diego Monday.
Maybin hasn't played in a game with Tuscon since Thursday. He will remain with the Triple-A club and could potentially resume a rehab assignment if his knee cooperates.
