Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels earned a win Saturday, giving up just one earned run on four hits in seven innings while striking out nine and walking none in his team's 2-1 victory over the Braves.
Hamels (4-5) took a no-hitter into fifth inning and surrendered his only run in the bottom of the seventh inning after his offense had just given him a 2-0 lead. He owns a 2.83 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 115:38 K:BB ratio in 114 1/3 innings. Hamels is scheduled to face the Giants Thursday.
