Cory Spangenberg cleared for baseball activities

Padres infield prospect Cory Spangenberg was cleared to begin hitting and taking grounders this week, U-T San Diego reports.

Spangenberg could begin playing in Arizona League games on Wednesday. He has been sidelined for more than two months with concussion issues.
