Endy Chavez leads off in first start

Mariners center fielder Endy Chavez drew his first start of the season, picking up a single in four at-bats during the Mariners' 3-1 win over the Rangers Friday night. Chavez was called up Thursday with Michael Saunders heading to the disabled list and drew the start, with regular center fielder Franklin Gutierrez replacing Raul Ibanez later in the game.
