Angels center fielder Mike Trout had himself quite the night in the Angels 12-0 rout of the Mariners Tuesday night. He went 4-for-5 with two runs, five RBI, a stolen base, a double, triple and home run.

Yes, Trout hit for the cycle, making him the first player of the 2013 season to do so. And in fact, there's more here than that. Remember, Trout is still only 21 years old. This made him the youngest player to hit for the cycle since Hall of Famer Mel Ott did so in 1929, according to Bill Shaikin of the LA Times.

And though Trout isn't having quite the stellar season he had last year, he's been pretty outstanding nonetheless. He's now hitting .293/.373/.558 with 13 doubles, four triples, nine homers, 34 RBI, 31 runs and nine steals.
