A two-start mini-slump is over for Mariners right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma.

Iwakuma rebounded by pitching seven shoutout innings Wednesday in Atlanta. He gave up six hits, walked none and struck out seven. Not bad considering he had yielded nine earned runs in 15 innings in successive losses to Houston and Detroit.

He will seek to continue on a positive path Tuesday against the Yankees and fellow Japanese import Masahiro Tanaka.
