The Indians have released Class A pitcher Fabio Martinez, the team announced Thursday. Martinez was 0-1 with an 8.06 ERA, 1.91 WHIP and 36:30 K:BB ratio in 25 2/3 innings over 20 appearances with high Class A Carolina.

Martinez also made three appearances with Double-A Akron, surrendering 10 earned runs, walking five and striking out one in 2 2/3 innings.
