Jaff Decker to play winter ball

Padres manager Bud Black confirmed Wednesday that outfielder Jaff Decker will play winter ball, MLB.com reports. Decker has hit .174/.259/.304 with one home run and two RBI in 23 at-bats with the Padres and .293/.389/.450 with nine home runs and 38 RBI in 331 at-bats with Triple-A Tuscon.
