Joaquin Arias records four hits

Giants infielder Joaquin Arias made a spot start and enjoyed a productive night at the dish as he recorded four hits Tuesday night against the Nationals.

Arias, who made the start for Marco Scutaro, doubled in the opening frame, and singled in the third, fifth and seventh innings, receptively. He finished 4 for 5 with two runs scored in a 4-2 defeat. He is hitting .289 with 19 RBI in 149 at-bats.
