Rays activate Tim Beckham from DL, send him to Triple-A

The Rays activated infielder Tim Beckham from the 15-day disabled list. Beckham hadn't played since May 30, as he recovered from a hamstring injury. 

Beckham was then optioned to Triple-A Durham. 

Rays manager Kevin Cash said that Beckham would get work in the outfield at Durham, per the Tampa Bay Times.
