Report: A's, Josh Reddick nearing deal

The Athletics and outfielder Josh Reddick are expected to come to terms on a deal on Saturday, the Bay Area News Group reports. Both sides are expected to split difference on salary figures. Reddick filed for $3.2 million while the A's countered at $2 million -- a gap of $1.2 million.

Reddick underwent wrist surgery in October, after posting a .226/.307/.379 with 12 homers and 56 RBI in 385 at-bats last season.
