Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks said he felt a pop in his hamstring Wednesday that was the result of scar tissue breaking free and classified the development as "great," MLB.com reports.
Weeks is battling for the starting role at second base and went 1 for 2 with a run before exiting. He's 7 for 19 with one home run and five walks in eight spring games and figures to be leading the competition with Scooter Gennett, who entered play Wednesday just 2 for 21 with one home run and two walks.
