Rob Rasmussen back with Blue Jays

The Blue Jays have promoted left-hander Rob Rasmussen from Triple-A Buffalo to assume the roster spot opened when they sent Brett Lawrie to the disabled list.

Rasmussen had been demoted last week. He has performed decently in a few stints at the big league level this year with a 3.18 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 11 1/3 innings.
