Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro said Tuesday that he's running at 90 percent, but he remains unsure about when he'll be able to play, Comcast SportsNet Chicago reports.
"We're getting closer," Castro said.
The Cubs are hoping Castro will be ready for opening day, but the team could decide to give him a little more time to recover by backdating a disabled-list stint, which would only cause him to miss a few games.
