Tigers recall prospect Avisail Garcia

The Tigers announced Monday outfield prospect Avisail Garcia was recalled from Triple-A Toledo after placing center fielder Austin Jackson on the 15-day disabled list with a pulled hamstring, according to MLB.com. Garcia began the season on the disabled list because of a heel injury, but he's been on a tear for Toledo since his activation, batting .432 (16 for 37) in eight games.

MLB.com ranked Garcia as the Tigers' third-best prospect entering the season.
