X-rays on Aramis Ramirez's elbow come back clean

X-rays on the injured elbow of Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez were negative, and he has been diagnosed with a bruised elbow, the team announced.

Ramirez was struck on the elbow by a pitch in the seventh inning of Monday's game against the Cardinals and had to come out. However, he seems to have avoided serious injury. Ramirez is considered day to day.
