Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: Comes off IL at High-A
Honeyman (undisclosed) was activated from High-A Peoria's 7-day injured list Friday.
Honeyman was placed on the IL on May 29 with an undisclosed injury, but he's been cleared to rejoin the team. The 23-year-old appeared in just two games for Peoria after receiving a promotion from Single-A before being shut down, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: Missing in action at High-A
High-A Peoria placed Honeyman on its 7-day injured list May 29 due to an unspecified injury.
Honeyman is on the shelf for the second time this season, as he previously opened the campaign on Single-A Palm Beach's IL. He returned to action for Palm Beach on April 11 and earned the bump up to Peoria in late May, only to be deactivated after playing in just two games at the High-A level. The 90th overall pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, Honeyman has intriguing tools, but staying healthy over a prolonged period has proven elusive for the outfielder through his first two-plus seasons in the professional ranks.

Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: Sidelined at Single-A
Single-A Palm Beach placed Honeyman on the injured list with an undisclosed injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports.
Honeyman is 23 years old, but injuries have limited him to just 20 games since he was selected in the third round of the 2023 draft.

Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: Activated, sent to rookie ball
Single-A Palm Beach reinstated Honeyman (undisclosed) from its 7-day injured list Friday and transferred him to the rookie-level Florida Complex League.
The Complex League season is over, so the Cardinals may have just assigned Honeyman to rookie ball so that he can receive some more hands-on coaching at the team's spring training facility before he eventually gets the call back to Palm Beach. Honeyman slashed .321/.367/.446 with no home runs in 60 plate appearances for Palm Beach before landing on the injured list July 2.

Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: On IL at Single-A
Single-A Palm Beach placed Honeyman on the 7-day injured list July 2 with an unspecified injury.
Honeyman, a 2023 draft pick, previously spent time on the IL for the rookie-level Florida Complex League earlier this season before being cleared to make his 2024 debut in late May. The outfielder was promoted to Single-A on June 11 and slashed .321/.367/.446 in 13 games with Palm Beach before being deactivated.

Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: Ready for pro debut
The Cardinals' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate reinstated Honeyman (undisclosed) from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.
Honeyman missed most of the first month of FCL play, but the 2023 third-round draft pick is finally ready to make his professional debut. As a 22-year-old who played at Boston College prior to being drafted, Honeyman will likely require only a few games in the FCL to regain a rhythm at the plate before the Cardinals assign him to either Single-A Palm Beach or High-A Peoria.

Cardinals' Travis Honeyman: Out with undisclosed injury
The Florida Complex League Cardinals placed Honeyman on the 7-day injured list May 4 with an undisclosed injury.
Honeyman, a 22-year-old outfielder out of Boston College whom the Cardinals selected in the third round last year, would have likely been assigned to a full-season affiliate to start the season if he were healthy. The assignment to the FCL is likely to serve as a rehab assignment once he's cleared for play, and then he could head to one of the Cardinals' Class A affiliates.
