All-Star Hawks guard blocks All-Star Warriors guard, gets the transition jam.
Jeff Teague is an All-Star this year, and rightfully so. Against the Warriors, Teague struggled, shooting just 2-of-9, but helped contain Steph Curry to just seven points on 3-of-9 shooting, including this spectacular sequence. The Warriors collected an OREB after Al Horford blocked Andrew Bogut, and looked to reset.
But in reality, this is where the Warriors kill you, because they fake that they're resetting the offense and then launch a quick three with their deadly shooters. Teague recognizes it, and watch how hard he closes on Curry.
Just an awesome play to recognize it. Teague rushed a lot of shots in the first half vs. the Warriors, but this play shows the level of intensity both teams played with Friday.
