The start of the 2015-2016 NBA season has not been kind to Kobe Bryant. Returning from a season-ending shoulder injury, Bryant has struggled shooting the ball. Bryant has been so bad, that an NBA Jam parody was created to mock his shooting slump. But against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, Bryant finally showed a glimpse of his vintage self.

Posting up on Nets guard Wayne Ellington, Bryant drove baseline meeting Brook Lopez in the paint. Bryant then eluded Lopez by scoring on an acrobatic, reverse layup.

Is the Black Mamba finally back?

Bryant finished the game with 18 points (5-16 FG) and 3 assists, leading the Lakers past the Nets for their first win of the season.
