Maurice Ndour: Waived by Knicks
Ndour was waived by the Knicks on Friday, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
Ndour played in 32 games for the Knicks last season, mostly picking up time when other frontcourt players, namely Kristaps Porzingis, Carmelo Anthony and Lance Thomas were injured. He averaged 3.1 points and 2.0 rebounds across 10.3 minutes per game while shooting 45.9 percent from the field. He demonstrated two-way potential in his limited minutes and could be an NBA/G-League tweener next season.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Nice two-way performance in Friday's start
Ndour accumulated 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 29 minutes during Friday's 101-88 loss to the Grizzlies.
Ndour has seemingly come out of nowhere for the Knicks, playing at least 12 minutes in each of the past five outings despite playing in just 25 other games for the Knicks, averaging 7.0 minutes per game in those contests. He's also drawn two starts over the past three games, totaling 28 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks and three steals across 62 minutes in those starts. While he's demonstrated potential on both sides of the rock recently, his playing time is heavily dependent on Kristaps Porzingis (back), Carmelo Anthony (rest) and Lance Thomas (hip) being sidelined, making him a risky pickup in any format.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Will start Friday
Ndour will get the start at power forward for Friday's matchup versus the Grizzlies, Al Iannazzone of News Day Sports reports.
The Knicks are without most of their regular rotational players, so Ndour should see plenty of run. He posted 13 points, 12 rebounds, one assists, two steals, and a block in 33 minutes during his previous start. He figures to see a similar workload Friday.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Will head back to bench Thursday
Ndour will head back to the bench for Thursday's game against the Wizards, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.
The Knicks will opt to start Marshall Plumlee next to Willy Hernangomez in the frontcourt Thursday with Kristaps Porzingis (back) out, sending Ndour back to the bench. It's unclear exactly what kind of a role he'll have at this point, but it seems possible he'll see 15 to 25 minutes of action.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Double-doubles in rare start Tuesday
Ndour started and scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT) while adding 12 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 100-91 win over the Bulls.
Ndour drew a rare start at power forward and was quite impressive, posting his first career double-double while showing the activity ton contribute in multiple other areas. The Knicks have nothing to play for at this point so Ndour could see more action down the stretch if the team elects to hold out certain individuals on a game-by-game basis.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Starting Tuesday
Ndour will draw a rare start in Tuesday's matchup against the Bulls, Al Iannazzone of News Day Sports reports.
Ndour has played five games with the Knicks since being recalled from the D-League. He's averaged 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds across 9.8 minutes in those starts. He will presumably see a significantly increased role playing with the starting unity Tuesday. With nothing to play for but lottery odds, the Knicks figure to continue toying with their lineups and rotations down the stretch.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Assigned to D-League
Ndour was assigned to the D-League's Westchester Knicks on Tuesday.
It's likely just a one-day assignment for Ndour, who should rejoin the parent club in time for Wednesday's game against the Heat. The rookie big man is averaging 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in 7.0 minutes per game over 24 appearances on the season.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Not listed on injury report Sunday
Ndour (ankle) isn't listed on the Knicks' injury report in the game notes prior to Sunday's tilt with the Nets.
It's seemingly an indication that Ndour is over the sprained right ankle that has prevented him from appearing so far in March, but there's still a decent chance that coach Jeff Hornacek makes the rookie of the team's two inactive players for Sunday's contest. Ndour hasn't been a consistent member of the team's rotation this season, averaging just 6.8 minutes per game in his 22 appearances.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Expected to miss a few more days
Ndour (ankle) is expected to remain out through at least Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
Ndour has sat out the last two contests with a sprained right ankle, and it looks like we can tack on two more absences to the ledger with the Knicks not counting on the reserve big man to play Sunday against the Warriors and Monday against the Magic. The undrafted rookie hasn't been a regular member of the Knicks' rotation this season, appearing in 22 contests and averaging 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per game.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Listed as doubtful Friday
Ndour (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the 76ers.
With only 22 appearances on the season, Ndour hasn't been a regular member of coach Jeff Hornacek's rotation when healthy, so his likely absence Friday due to injury shouldn't affect the minutes distribution in the frontcourt.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Out Wednesday with sprained ankle
Ndour won't be available Wednesday against the Magic due to a sprained right ankle, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Ndour hasn't been more than a deep bench option for the Knicks this season, but his absence means the team will be even more shorthanded in the frontcourt Wednesday, as Joakim Noah (knee) and Willy Hernangomez (ankle) will also be sidelined. As a result, expect Kristaps Porzingis, Kyle O'Quinn and Lance Thomas to absorb nearly all the minutes at power forward or center.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Assigned to D-League
Ndour was assigned to the D-League's Westchester Knicks on Sunday.
Ndour, Ron Baker and Marshall Plumlee were all assigned to Westchester ahead of their game Sunday against the Erie BayHawks, but look for all three players to be recalled to the Knicks in advance of Monday's tilt with the Raptors.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Assigned to D-League
Ndour was assigned to the D-League's Westchester Knicks on Wednesday.
Ndour played 19 minutes in Westchester's 113-105 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, generating 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 FT) and six rebounds before fouling out. He could potentially rejoin the parent club in time for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Doesn't play in Sunday's win
Ndour (coach's decision) was inactive for the Knicks' 94-90 win over the Spurs on Sunday.
Ndour had played three minutes in Friday's loss to the Nuggets, but with Lance Thomas (orbital) returning to action Sunday from a month-long absence, the Knicks had no need for Ndour to dress for the contest. With only six appearances with the big club since the beginning of January, Ndour could soon be sent to the D-League's Westchester Knicks to get more in-game opportunities.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Assigned to D-League
Ndour was assigned Tuesday to the D-League's Westchester Knicks.
Ndour logged his second highest minutes total of the season with the Knicks during Monday's blowout loss to the Pelicans, playing 15 minutes, while notching three rebounds, a steal and a turnover. That said, when games remain close, Ndour is not expected to get anything more than a few spots minutes, so he'll head to the D-League, where he should have added developmental opportunities with more in-game reps available.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Recalled from D-League
Ndour was recalled Thursday from the D-League's Westchester Knicks.
Ndour was with Westchester for their game on Wednesday, where he went off for 26 points (9-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and four blocks over 30 minutes. With the big club potentially missing Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) for their upcoming back-to-back set starting Friday, Ndour has been recalled and should provide some emergency depth in the frontcourt, although he's unlikely to get significant minutes if the games remain competitive.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Assigned to D-League
Ndour was assigned to the D-League's Westchester Knicks on Wednesday.
Though Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is doubtful to play Wednesday against the Bucks, the Knicks should have enough frontcourt depth to withstand his absence, as Kyle O'Quinn (illness) returned Monday following a one-game hiatus. As a result, there's little need for the Knicks to keep Ndour active Wednesday, so he'll instead report to Westchester, with whom he'll play more extended minutes in their contest Wednesday against the Grand Rapids Drive.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Logs nine minutes Saturday
Ndour (ankle) accumulated four points (2-3 FG) and two rebounds across nine minutes in a 127-122 loss to the Rockets on Saturday.
Ndour sprained his ankle during a practice earlier this week, but he's been active in each of the last three contests, indicating the injury was a non-issue. His entry into the rotation Saturday was largely a byproduct of the Knicks playing without Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles), but Ndour figures to see his playing time evaporate as soon as Porzingis is cleared to play again.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Sits out practice
Ndour did not practice Tuesday due to a sprained right ankle.
The 24-year-old likely sustained the injury at practice Monday, as he hasn't played in any of New York's last three games. Nonetheless, consider Ndour questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Hawks.

Knicks' Maurice Ndour: Assigned to D-League
Ndour was assigned to the D-League's Westchester Knicks on Friday, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.
The Knicks are off the schedule until Christmas Day against the Celtics, so the team's three undrafted rookies -- Ndour, Marshall Plumlee and Ron Baker -- will join Westchester for their game Friday. All three are expected to be recalled in time for Sunday's game against the Celtics, but none of the players are safe bets to see the floor in that contest.
