Top Ty Jerome News

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Scores 19 points in 20 minutes

Jerome logged 19 points (8-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 20 minutes during Monday's 114-113 loss to the Warriors.

Jerome continues to deliver solid production, despite being limited to 20 minutes per game. In five games since returning from injury, he has averaged 19.8 points, 5.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.2 three-pointers in 20.1 minutes per game. While he is a clear must-roster fantasy player, managers might want to consider entertaining offers, assuming Ja Morant and Walter Clayton are to come back into the rotation at some point in the near future.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Back in starting lneup

Jerome is part of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Portland.

Jerome got the night off Friday, and he'll be back in action Saturday in a starting role. Jerome has played between 19 and 21 minutes in all three of his appearances this season, but given Memphis' slew of unavailable guards, Jerome could be forced to play more minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Available to play

Jerome (calf) is available for Saturday's game against Portland.

Jerome is back in the mix after getting a maintenance day Friday on the front end of the back-to-back set. The Grizzlies are very thin Saturday and Jerome offers plenty of streaming upside for this contest.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Dominates in victory

Jerome amassed 28 points (10-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, seven assists and one steal over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 129-125 win over Sacramento.

Jerome turned in another masterful performance, continuing to put up ridiculous numbers despite playing just 21 minutes. In three games since returning from injury, he has averaged 22.3 points, 7.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers, flirting with first-round value in standard leagues. While he is clearly a must-roster player, managers could certainly consider moving him, given that the Grizzlies should start to get healthy bodies back on the floor in the near future.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Not playing Friday

Jerome (calf) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Jerome has played in each of the Grizzlies' last three games after missing the first 46 games of the regular season due to a right calf strain that he suffered during the preseason. Memphis plays a back-to-back set against Portland on Friday and Saturday, so Jerome will be sidelined for the first leg and should be available for the second. Cam Spencer figures to enter the Grizzlies' starting lineup in Jerome's absence.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Dishes eight dimes vs. Minnesota

Jerome logged 19 points (6-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight assists, six rebounds and one steal over 20 minutes during the Grizzlies' 137-128 win over the Timberwolves on Monday.

The Grizzlies stuck to Jerome's 20-minute restriction while the seventh-year guard continues to work on his conditioning after missing 46 games due to a calf strain. Even in his limited playing time, Jerome was one of the more productive players on the court Monday, leading the Grizzlies in assists while finishing second in points behind Jaren Jackson (30). Jerome's fantasy ceiling will be naturally lower while operating on a minutes limit and will take a significant hit once Ja Morant (elbow) returns, but the former's efficiency makes him an intriguing waiver-wire addition where available.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Pops for team-high 20 in debut

Jerome (calf) racked up 20 points (6-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six assists, one rebound and one steal across 19 minutes during Saturday's 131-114 loss to Minnesota.

The journeyman guard led the Grizzlies in scoring in his debut for the team after missing the first 46 games of the season while recovering from a calf strain. Jerome had a breakout campaign in 2024-25 for Cleveland, and he'll get a look in the starting five for Memphis as long as Ja Morant (elbow) is sidelined.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Closing in on season debut

Grizzlies head coach Tuomas Iisalo said Friday that Jerome (calf) is likely to make his season debut within 1-to-2 weeks, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

After inking a two-year, $18 million deal with Memphis in the offseason, Jerome has yet to make his Grizzlies debut while he works his way back from the high-grade right calf strain he sustained late in the preseason. According to Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal, Iisalo said that Jerome has resumed taking part in 5-on-5 work in practices, and assuming the veteran guard experiences no setbacks while building up over the next week or two, he'll get the green light to play in games. With the Grizzlies announcing Saturday that Ja Morant (elbow) will be out at least three weeks before being re-evaluated, Jerome could be called upon to handle a prominent role in the Memphis backcourt right away upon gaining clearance.

Jerome is not yet ready to make his season debut while rehabbing from a high-grade strain. Friday's tilt against the Pelicans marks the guard's next opportunity to play. Cam Spencer should have the backup spot at point guard all to himself behind Ja Morant for at least one more contest.

  • Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Out for Europe games

Jerome (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Magic in Berlin.

On Sunday, Grizzlies head coach Tuomas Iisalo told Chris Dodson of ClutchPoints.com that he didn't anticipate having Jerome available for either of the team's upcoming games in Europe, so the veteran guard's absence looks like it will extend through at least this coming Sunday's rematch with the Magic in London. On a positive note, Jerome did make the trip with the Grizzlies to Germany, and Iisalo added that the 28-year-old has resumed on-court work. Jerome has been out all season while recovering from a high-grade right calf strain, but he could be ready to make his Grizzlies debut at some point before the end of January.
