Pistons' Jalen Duren: Not playing Sunday
Duren (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Pacers.
The Pistons are locked in as the top seed in the Eastern Conference, so Duren will get a little extra rest ahead of the postseason. The fourth-year big man enjoyed a career year in 2025-26, earning his first All-Star selection and averaging a career-high 19.5 points per game along with 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 steals over 28.2 minutes per contest. Isaiah Stewart and Paul Reed should both see extended playing time Sunday in Duren's absence.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Nears double-double Friday
Duren had 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and four assists over 22 minutes during Friday's 118-100 victory over the Hornets.
Duren ended just one rebound shy of recording what would've been an efficient double-double in 22 minutes, as he also missed just three of his 11 shots from the floor. Even though this was Duren's fourth straight without a double-double, the All-Star big man continues to produce on both ends of the court for a Pistons team that already locked up the No. 1 seed in the East. Duren is ending the season on a strong note. He has scored at least 20 points and/or has grabbed at least nine rebounds in five of his last six games since a one-game absence on March 30 versus the Thunder due to knee injury management.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Expected to play Saturday
Duren (illness) is expected to play Saturday against the 76ers, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff told Austin Krell of OnPattison.com.
Duren has started and played at least 35 minutes in his last two appearances, against the Raptors and Timberwolves, tallying a combined 53 points, 23 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in back-to-back wins. Even though Duren is carrying a questionable tag and no official decision has been made, Bickerstaff's words suggest the big man should suit up and handle his regular workload. Duren is averaging 22.2 points and 10.4 boards per game since the beginning of March.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Questionable versus Philadelphia
Duren (illness) is questionable ahead of Saturday's game against Philadelphia.
The 26-year-old didn't suit up for the 114-110 overtime loss to Oklahoma City on Monday. However, despite appearing in Detroit's last two outings, he's now in jeopardy of missing this contest because of an illness. With Isaiah Stewart (calf) still on the shelf, Paul Reed would likely find himself back in the starting lineup if Duren can't suit up.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Full stat line in win
Duren tallied 22 points (8-15 FG, 6-10 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes in Thursday's 113-108 win over the Timberwolves.
Duren struggled from the charity stripe but turned in a fairly efficient performance from the field and finished as Detroit's second-leading scorer. The star big man also grabbed a game-high mark in rebounds, securing his fifth double-double over his last six outings. Additionally, the 22-year-old recorded at least one block for a fifth straight game, logging two swats in three of them.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Huge performance in return
Duren logged 31 points (12-13 FG, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one block over 35 minutes during the Pistons' 127-116 win over the Raptors on Tuesday.
Duren was cleared to play after missing Monday's game against the Thunder due to knee injury management. His return was the boost that the Pistons desperately needed, especially in the continued absence of Cade Cunningham (chest). It was Duren's eighth 30-plus-point performance of the season (and fourth in 10 games since March 13). Across his last 10 outings, the All-Star center has averaged 25.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 blocks over 31.2 minutes per game.

Duren (knee) is out for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Duren is scheduled for a rest day on the first leg of a back-to-back set, and managers can expect to get official confirmation on his status closer to tipoff. With both Duren and Isaiah Stewart (calf) unavailable for Monday's game, Paul Reed should see heavy minutes in a starting role.

Duren is coming off a massive showing in Thursday's 129-108 win over New Orleans. However, he's now in danger of missing his first game in over a month due to injury management. With Isaiah Stewart (calf) sidelined, Paul Reed would be the favorite to enter the starting lineup if Duren is ruled out.

Duren closed Thursday's 129-108 victory over the Pelicans with 30 points (10-12 FG, 10-12 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and two steals across 31 minutes.
Duren was clearly the star of the show Thursday evening, as he led the Pistons in scoring and rebounding and tied Ausar Thompson for the team lead in swats. He also impressed as a playmaker by dishing out a season-high seven dimes. Duren has stepped up in a big way while Detroit has been without Cade Cunningham (chest) and has put up 20-plus points in five consecutive showings, securing four double-doubles during this span.

Duren recorded his second straight double-double with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, and he also chipped in some blocks after coming up empty in that category in his previous three appearances. He had a chance to win it in overtime, grabbing an offensive rebound in the closing seconds, but Duren's putback clanked off the rim as time expired.
