Brown agreed Monday with the Trail Blazers on a partially guaranteed one-year contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Brown made his NBA debut with the Trail Blazers during the 2019-20 season but has played for five teams over the past three seasons. He's struggled to garner much of a role over the past two seasons, averaging 4.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game over 76 appearances between the Cavaliers, Mavericks, Nets and Clippers. Brown will attempt to compete for a depth role with Portland ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.... See More ... See Less

Nets' Moses Brown: Back in Brooklyn
Brown re-signed Tuesday with the Nets on a second 10-day contract. Over the course of his first 10-day deal, Brown made just one four-minute appearance off the bench, recording one steal, one turnover and no other statistics while getting garbage-time run in a 119-106 loss to the Magic on Sunday. Though he'll stick around in Brooklyn a little while longer, Brown looks like he'll be outside of the rotation with Day'Ron Sharpe having settled in as the top backup to starting center Nic Claxton.... Nets' Moses Brown: Joining Brooklyn
Brown is expected to finalize a 10-day contract with the Nets on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The Nets' two two-way slots are currently filled by guards Dru Smith and David Duke, so Brown appears set to join Brooklyn on a standard NBA deal after a spot on the 15-man roster opened up when Nerlens Noel's 10-day contract expired Wednesday. Brooklyn marks the third stop of the season for Brown, who was previously a two-way player for the Clippers and Knicks. All 34 of his appearances at the NBA level this season have come as a member of L.A., with Brown averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes per contest. Brown isn't expected to be a regular rotation player for the Nets.... See More ... See Less -
Moses Brown: Dominant in Westchester debut
Brown recorded 18 points (7-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 17 rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes during Saturday's 114-108 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors. Brown's eight offensive rebounds helped him post a team high in boards. Despite his dominant rebounding, he still posted a minus-5 point differential.... See More ... See Less -
Moses Brown: Cut loose by New York
The Knicks waived Brown on Sunday. New York handed Brown's two-way spot to rookie guard Trevor Keels, who previously played under a two-way deal and 10-day contract with the Knicks earlier this season. After signing with the Knicks earlier this month, Brown never debuted for the NBA team and played exclusively with the organization's G League affiliate in Westchester.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Moses Brown: Inks two-way with Knicks
Brown and the Knicks agreed to a two-way contract Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Brown began the campaign on a two-way contract with the Clippers. He appeared in 34 games (one start) with Los Angeles, averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect much to change in New York, as he's presumably a depth option at center for emergencies.... See More ... See Less -
Moses Brown: Will be let go
The Clippers plan to waive Brown on Friday, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Since Brown is on a two-way contract, the Clippers had to decide whether to sign him to an end-of-season deal or waive him after he was active for the 50th time this season during Thursday's win over the Suns. The backup big man made 34 appearances (one start) during his time with Los Angeles, averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Doesn't suit up Sunday
Brown did not suit up for Ontario's Sunday night contest against the South Bay Lakers. Even though Brown was listed as healthy going into Sunday's contest, coach Grant Gibbs decided not to play him for unknown reasons. When back in the rotation, expect him to make an impact on both ends of the floor as one of the primary big men for Ontario.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Busts out with double-double
Brown finished with 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-3 FT) and 16 rebounds in 26 minutes during Sunday's 122-99 loss to the Cavaliers. Brown drew a season-high minutes load Sunday, taking full advantage of what was a favorable situation with the Clippers holding out six players due to injuries or rest for the second half of a back-to-back set. Considering Brown hadn't been part of the rotation heading into Sunday, the two-way player is more likely to head back to the G League's Ontario Clippers than to pick up minutes off the bench when L.A. returns to action Tuesday at Chicago.... Clippers' Moses Brown: Sent to G League
Brown was sent to the G League on Thursday and will be unavailable for Friday's game against the Spurs, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Brown is on a two-way contract, so he'll continue to go back and forth between the NBA and the G League. His best chance at seeing consistent NBA minutes is if Ivica Zubac misses time.... Clippers' Moses Brown: Unavailable Wednesday
Brown (undisclosed) will not play in Wednesday's game against Utah. Brown's two-way contract has capped the number of games he can be listed as available, and considering he has been active for 44 of the maximum 50 games, it can be assumed he is being held out to keep him on the deal for as long as possible. His absence will leave a handful of backup center minutes for Robert Covington. Brown's next chance to play will come Friday in San Antonio.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Now available
Brown (undisclosed) is available for Sunday's matchup against Houston, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Brown was initially listed as unavailable due to an undisclosed reason, but the backup big man has since been upgraded to available. Across 31 appearances (one start), he's averaging 4.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 7.7 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Not playing Sunday
Brown (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rockets, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. All signs point to Brown being unavailable only to manage his current two-way contract, as he's been very good as Ivica Zubac's backup but has a specific number of games he can spend on an NBA roster, and he has been active or played in 44 of the 50 games he's allotted so far. Brown's presence off the bench will be missed, but this will likely result in more minutes for Robert Covington and Amir Coffey. Brown's next chance to play will come Tuesday against the 76ers.... Clippers' Moses Brown: Double-double in heavy loss
Brown finished with 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-7 FT), 10 rebounds and one block across 19 minutes during Thursday's 122-91 loss to the Nuggets. Brown was one of a few players who saw a ton of additional playing time Thursday, putting up his first double-double of the season. Prior to this game, Brown had been out of the rotation completely, highlighting the fact that this should be looked at as a complete outlier. If he were ever to crack 20 minutes a night, he could have some value as a rebounds and blocks streamer, although that feels highly unlikely at this juncture.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Coming off bench
Brown will return to a reserve role in Saturday's contest against the Wizards, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Brown drew a spot start with Ivica Zubac (knee) sidelined in the Clippers' last game. While the latter is again out, the Clippers will opt for a smaller starting lineup. Still, Brown could see healthier minutes than usual off the bench with Zubac out.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Grabs season-high 12 boards
Brown logged five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 FT), 12 rebounds and one block in 23 minutes during Thursday's 111-95 loss to the Suns. Brown replaced Ivica Zubac (knee) in the starting lineup, tallying a season-high 12 rebounds. Unfortunately, he added very little else, including just a solitary blocked shot. If Zubac misses Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Brown could once again be a viable streaming option, albeit one with some pretty apparent limitations.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Records 10 points in loss
Brown logged 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-6 FT) and six rebounds over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 124-107 loss to the Warriors. Brown made the most of his 12 minutes on the court, finishing with his second-highest point and rebound totals of the campaign. The big man hasn't gotten to see much playing time this season, as this was just his third game logging double-digit minutes. He'll be off the fantasy radar as long as his opportunities to impress remain limited.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Offers little in victory Monday
Brown notched six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one block over five minutes during Monday's 122-106 win over the Rockets. Brown saw five minutes during garbage time, continuing what has been a rough start to the season. To this point, he has played more than five minutes only once, when Ivica Zubac was in early foul trouble. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, the playing time simply isn't there for Brown, so he can be ignored in all moderately competitive formats.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Strong output off bench
Brown provided 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-3 FT), seven rebounds and one block in 12 minutes during Wednesday's 109-101 win over Houston. Brown had scored a total of five points in four games heading into Wednesday's matchup, but he logged a season-high 12 minutes and made the most of his opportunities in this one. However, he'll likely see his playing time diminish to a few minutes at best once Robert Covington (illness) returns to health.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Moses Brown: Earns two-way deal
The Clippers signed Brown to a two-way deal Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Despite only playing in two preseason games for a combined 13 minutes, Brown had his contract converted to a two-way deal. Brown has good size at 7-foot-2 and has averaged 6.0 points and 5.8 rebounds in 14.1 minutes in his 92 career games.... See More ... See Less
