Draft Scouting Report:
Rating: 84.18 (Long-term starter)
Pro Comparison: Nate Davis
Strengths:
Compact, low center of gravity guard with deceptive power because he's built so low to the ground. Grip strength is top notch. Has some short-area quickness. Typically sound on combos at the second level. Love his nastiness through the whistle. He'll "finish" blocks with authority often. Surprising length for his shorter stature. High-floor guard who can start and be a quality contributor early.
Weaknesses:
Not a freaky athlete by any stretch of the imagination. Could stand to add more weight to his lower half to help ease his anchoring. Recovery skills are lacking because of his minimal explosiveness and average lateral juice.
Accolades:
- 2021: All-AAC first team
- 51 starts in past four seasons at guard and tackle
