Draft Scouting Report:
Rating: 66.54 (Role player)
Pro Comparison: Justin Lawler
Strengths:
Outside rusher who plays like he just chugged a Red Bull on the sideline. Feels like he takes offense to being blocked. Constantly battling. Gets the most out of his limited athletic profile. Good closing speed against the run and makes a big-time effort in that phase of the game. Gives full effort every time he's on the field.
Weaknesses:
Shorter, stocky build with short arms for the position. Gets stuck to blocks in most cases. Not a pass-rush plan type. Reactionary more than anything. Film is very consistent but unspectacular. His limitations trait-wise are very clear to see. Not a bendy/powerful/explosive rusher.
Accolades:
- 2021: Honorable mention All-Big Ten
- 2021: Career-high 61 tackles and 8.5 TFL
