Jaguars wide receiver Ace Sanders, who was expected to become the preferred target with Cecil Shorts on IR, had just two catches for 17 yards in his first crack at it Week 15 against Buffalo. He scored a touchdown, redeeming his afternoon somewhat, but he had only three targets.
Most likely, things won't get much better for him Week 16 against Tennessee. The Titans rank 10th against the pass, allowing 225.9 yards per game, and have given up the second-fewest Fantasy points to wide receivers this season. They've been much more vulnerable to the run, so more likely than not, that's how the Jaguars will attack them.
Sanders still has the potential to be a high-volume receiver out of the slot, but now probably isn't the time to take a chance on him.
